The blog has been on hiatus for Christmas and New Year’s Day — and now we’re back with an exciting announcement. Starting this Monday, January 6th, we’ll be undergoing some changes at the hotel! A major renovation, that is.
We want YOU to track the renovation progress with us, here on the blog. Check back each week for photo updates during the six week process, and watch our hotel evolve.

Atlantica Hotel Halifax is constantly responding to feedback and industry trends to improve our guest experience.
Between January 6 and February 28, 2014, we will be carrying out necessary upgrades to four levels of our parkade.
In order to minimize any inconvenience to our guests, the hotel will be closed during this period. We will be pleased to welcome our guests back as of March 1, 2014.
We will also take the opportunity during the closure to renovate two additional guest room floors, our lobby and meeting space!
Off-site catering services will be available during the renovation. Meeting and banquet services are available at the Waegwoltic Club.
For clients requiring a full service hotel experience during our closure, our sister property Atlantica Hotel & Marina Oak Island is an excellent alternative for your meeting, conference or event.
