1. Q: What is there to do in Halifax?

A: Halifax is well known throughout the world for its historical landmarks and many attractions like Citadel Hill, Waterfront boardwalk, Halifax Harbour Boat Tours, Gray Line Tours & Celtic music. Please feel free to visit our activities page for a list of suggested activities in Halifax.

2. Q: Where would I find a good seafood restaurant?

A: If you like fresh seafood, then Halifax is the place for you! There are a number of excellent restaurants that specialize in seafood located close to the hotel including Seasons Bistro (onsite), Five Fisherman (Fine Dining); Salty’s & MacKelvie’s (casual).

3. Q: Where is the best place to go shopping?

A: Several choices include Halifax Shopping Centre, Spring Garden Road, Historic Properties, Micmac Mall & Dartmouth Crossing.

4. Q: Where can I go running?

A: There are great running trails at Point Pleasant Park and the Commons (located adjacent to the hotel)

5. Q: How far is the waterfront from the hotel?

A: The Halifax waterfront is located 15-20 mins. walking time or a 5 minute drive away (2.5km).

6. Q: Where do you go to find local entertainment?

A: Few cities can rival Halifax for its local music scene. Try a few favourite spots like The Old Triangle, The Lower Deck & The Split Crow

7. Q: How can I get to the airport?

A: There is an Airporter shuttle service available for a cost of $18 each way. There are also Limo & Taxi services available for a approximate cost of $53 each way. You can find directions and maps on our directions and maps page.

8. Q: Do you allow pets?

A: Yes, Atlantica Hotel Halifax, is pet friendly. Please refer to our pet policy page for more information on bringing your pet with you.

9. Q: Do you have dry cleaning services?

A: Yes, we have same-day dry cleaning services Monday to Friday.

10. Q: What hours does the pool/fitness facility operate?

A: Our pool/fitness facility opens at 5:30am and closes at 11:00pm.
